Project CHOICE: Developing a Personalized-Feedback EMA/EMI Intervention for Emerging Adults Leaving Psychiatric Partial Hospitalization
Project CHOICE is a study testing a smartphone app designed to help young adults improve their coping skills.
Who Qualifies?
You qualify for this study if you are:
- Between the ages of 18-25
- Currently enrolled in a Butler Hospital PHP or IOP
Study Participation Involves:
- Completion of a preliminary screening questionnaire and baseline assessment.
- Consultation with a study clinician to evaluate your substance usage compared to peers in your age group.
- Engagement with the smartphone application (if assigned to the app study condition) which prompts daily inquiries about mood and substance use, along with offering personalized coping strategies.
- Attendance at follow-up sessions at 6 weeks, 12 weeks, and 6 months post-discharge.

- You could earn up to $600 or $820 over 6 months, contingent on your assigned study condition.
