The Carney Institute for Brain Science at Brown University hosts “Carney Conversations,” a series
of free, virtual panel discussions on topics related to brain science. In November, 2020, Stephen Salloway, MD, Director of the Memory and Aging Program and of Neurology at Butler Hospital and Professor of Neurology and of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Brown University, joined Ashley Webb, Assistant Professor of Molecular Biology, Cell Biology and Biochemistry at Brown for a discussion of advances in Alzheimer’s research from the bench to the bedside. The discussion was moderated by Diane Lipscombe, Reliance Dhirubhai Ambani Director of the Carney Institute, and Christopher Moore, associate director of the Carney Institute.
